I can. I will.
I shall. I am.
Engage trains the adults around a child, and works one to one with the young person. Now based in County Down and open to fostering agencies, schools and youth organisations across Northern Ireland.
Across education, youth work, the arts, psychotherapy and therapeutic fostering.
By a national Independent Fostering Agency to deliver our training programmes to foster carers.
All staff and volunteers have full criminal records checks and receive additional training from Engage.
Our work rests on one belief: that people already hold the ability to recover and to go further than they expect, given the right knowledge and someone who will stay with them.
Everything Engage delivers, from a four hour seminar to a two year mentoring programme, is built to hand that knowledge over and then step back.
Training for professionals and young people
Engage works with fostering agencies, education establishments, social care organisations, training providers, and directly with young people, parents and carers.
Training for Children & Young People

More about our work
You can come to us yourself. You do not need anyone's permission to ask.
We accept self referrals from young people. That means you can contact us directly, ask what happens next, and decide afterwards whether you want to carry on. Everything you tell your mentor stays between you and them.

We are strictly not for profit, meaning all profits made through our work go back into Engage, enabling more young people to access our services and projects.
